As Sovereign’s trainer and sales person, Matt finds that many rider/owners are mismatched with their Friesian partners which can cause distress for both horse and rider. By importing and training high quality young Friesian horses direct from their Netherland origin, he hopes to be able to assist prospective owners in finding their Friesian forever horse match while supporting and preserving the integrity of the Friesian breed.

THE SOVEREIGN KFPS/FHANA REGISTERED FRIESIAN
The KFPS (Koninklijk Friesch Parden-Stamboek) is the official Royal Friesian Netherlands association that has registered Friesian horses since 1879. FHANA (Friesian Horses of North America), is the sole representative of the KFPS in North America to achieve its primary goal of preserving and improving the integrity of the Friesian horse. We are a proud business member of FHANA and our stable partners in the Netherlands are active KFPS members. All our KFPS Studbook registered Friesians were microchipped, registered, and come with their passport and papers for a transparent history of lineage and KFPS rating.
